Available for Adoption Great Pyrenees "Sophie" - "Sophie" has white with markings. She is a gorgeous, sweet and gentle young Great Pyrenees female. She arrived a little shy, but is now as outgoing and playful as can be. She bounces around with all the others when she plays, but like the true Great Pyrenees, she is SOOO gentle with small children and all people, and even the littlest animals. "Sophie" is gorgeous and incredible and loving to all, She needs the most special home and would love to live with other doggy friends. "Sophie" is currently in a foster home with one of our greatest adopters. She is living with cats, and many other big dogs and always has time to help care for a new puppy that might fostered and is a gentle friend to one and all. "Polo" - "Polo is a white with gold Great Pyrenees male, loving, sweet and huge "Pete" - "Pete" is a gorgeous, sweet, lovable and silly big baby of a Great Pyrenees young male.  We flew him here all the way from Taiwan where he would have surely died in a shelter. When he arrived he was about three inches wide - meaning he was extremely emaciated!  But, "Pete" has the greatest attitude and the happiest attitude. He bounces and plays with everyone and knows how to eat well, so now he is gaining weight and is looking like the polar bear boy that he should.  He is more than twice as wide as when he came and has more to go, but he is now ready to find a great family who will love and cherish him and keep him safe for life.  He needs a home where they love a silly, playful big boy who would love to have friends in any size. "Pete" is a true gentle giant who loves everyone and is looking for the special loving  forever home that we promised to find him when we flew him here across the globe from Taiwan! "Brinks" - "Brinks" is a handsome all white young Great Pyrenees male.  So loving and sweet, he loves to give his paw and gaze lovingly into your eyes.  He is playful and adorable and looks like a big white polar bear!  He loves playing with all the dogs here, but mostly loves to be hugged and petted.  He is a big baby who is looking for the best home on earth! "Thumper" - "Thumper" is a huge Great Pyrenees male, who is white with smoke markings. He is gorgeous and sweet! "Lolly Pop" - White female young "Casper" - "Casper" is an incredibly sweet and loving all white great Pyrenees Australian Shepherd puppy with gorgeous blue eyes. He has brains and beauty from this great combination and is very sweet, loving and gentle. "Casper" is also deaf or hard of hearing. He is a love bug and a cuddler and the cutest thing on this earth! He is outgoing and friendly and sensitive and will jump right into your lap for the unconditional love he needs and gives to everyone. "Casper" is also one of our current resident deaf or hard of hearing dog, which is kind of funny if you realize that our original resident deaf dog used to be our first deaf dog, our Giant Great Dane Avalanche, who was 305 pounds, and now we have Snow White also here, a tiny I.G.WOWhua (Italian Greyhound Chihuahua combination who is also deaf), following in his footsteps at only 2 to 3 pounds, yet with just as big an attitude. And "Casper" the Great Pyrenees Aussie is as sweet a big baby of a puppy as he can be. He is already very large, actually as large as the Great Dane and other giant puppies we have here and still growing so he will be a very big boy and is already! "Casper" is friendly and playful and plays with all the other puppies and would love a home of his own with kids and other dogs. And most of these dogs are actually 'hard of hearing' where they do hear, but they hear things that are not in the normal range of conversation, like some baby talk and low tones and unusual sounds, like our giant Avalanche could hear the ice cream truck anywhere it was in the neighborhood and he could also sense the vibrations outside when someone drove into our driveway, etc., so they become very intuitive as they sensing things that we are not even usually paying attention to. We LOVE deaf dogs because they are just like the hearing dogs of the breeds we rescue but even more so, Because our breeds are so loving and dependent on our love, they stay very close to you, and because a deaf dog knows it cannot hear everything, it stays even closer yet. They are even more loving and more affectionate and all of their other senses are sharper and quicker. Because they have never been yelled at, a deaf dog will generally have a rock solid personality and be outgoing and great with kids. For anyone who has every had a deaf dog, you will likely always have one because they love so intensely and are the quickest, fastest, sharpest, yet just as calm and living and laid back. "Casper" is all this and more! To say he is special would be an understatement and to say that he is spectacular would net be saying enough. He is looking for the best home on earth and as you can tell, we love him to pieces, too! All of the dogs we adopt will always be our babies and all of our adopters are our extended family as you can see on our website.
