Good afternoon Tracy, Melody and Burt:
First, let me say "thank you" for the shelter you provide to giant dogs.
Your efforts are humane and noble.
My wife and I love just looking at your site.
We fell in love with Mastiffs so much that we now have a full time resident in our house.
Her name is "Zara" and she is a 160 lb fawn female.
She is my child.
My day, every day, begins and ends with her.
We start our day at 6:00 a.m. and spend an hour at the dog park every morning.
She spends the day at home with my wife, and then gets a nice long walk every evening when I get home.
The most amazing thing about "Zara" is that she is probably one of the most well traveled dogs you will ever meet.
We plan all our vacations and time off around what she can do and where she can go.
Thank goodness most places in the U.S. are now more open to well behaved dogs.
I have included some pictures of "Zara" and her travels.
I hope you find them as amusing as we did.
She has been to the top of Mammoth Mountain via gondola, down to Devils Postpile via public bus, up and down the entire California coast and to the finest resorts including Rancho Santa Fe Resort.
In Carmel, she has eaten at some of the best restaurants (some even have doggie menus).
I will be putting a check in the mail tomorrow to assist you with your efforts.
I hope it helps.
If you or any of your adopted parents ever need help or suggestions with traveling with dogs, vacation ideas, etc. please give me a shout.
You can have your clients e-mail me directly if they like.
I have included my personal e-mail address below.
Enjoy the pictures.
If you want more, I can burn a CD and send them to you.
We have hundreds!
